The difference between pre-fab saunas and sauna kits is this: think of the latter as the inside "skin" of the sauna.

As the name suggests, pre-fab saunas are pre-fabricated. They can be assembled in 2-3 hours. There is no additional framing as the walls support themselves. However, a sauna kit (supplied by Saunafin) includes the inside materials, such as the cedar lining, benches, vapor barrier, door, molding, heater, etc. You and/or your contractor build the walls, while insulating and finishing the exterior.
